I know.. I am a week late..
but I have been overly enjoying my little man. :)
He's PERFECT!
Kruz Fielding Davis
was born on November 8th at 2:45 pm.
8 pounds 10 ounces..
BIG BOY!
Okay so the above picture is when they were cleaning him off,
he looks extremely large.
He was just swollen :)
So here' s the story..
We were supposed to get induced on Tuesday,
but on Monday our doctor said no way..
and we were pretty upset
so Fielding found an excuse on how he needed a new truck..
so monday we spent in a dealership..
Yes, Fielding traded in his baby..
the 2010 Toyota Tundra,
for a 2008 Dodge Cummins Mega Cab.
and then he went and bought new rims and got it rinalined,
and we still have to put tint on it..
but this is what it looks like with the new rims and tires..
yeah.. Can you say MID BABY CRISIS?
haha. I wouldn't say that yet..
because most of you know I was driving a 2011 Scion TC.
It was an awesome car but just small seeing how it was a two door.
So.. On Tuesday we spent in another dealership and got me...
a Toyota FJ cruiser.
I used to think they were the ugliest car in the world,
but it has totally grown on me, and Kruz has so much room in the backseat :)
ahhh.. Im in love with my new car..
So it was definitely a mid baby crisis ;)
So with our new cars..
We spent Wednesday registering them, and insuring them...
So with those 3 busy days full of walking..
and being two weeks over due..
We went to bed,
and at 5:30am I woke up for a normal bathroom break.
After I went to the bathroom I felt so nauseous.
I felt like something wasn't right..
Then I didn't feel Kruz move for awhile.
So I called Labor and Delivery to see if I could come in
and just check his heartbeat to see if he was still okay.
I wasn't planning on meeting my son that day..
We walked in..
I had the worst nerves in the world,
wondering if he was okay.
They walked me into the room
and hooked me up to monitors.
It showed that I was having contractions every 3-5 minutes,
and his heartbeat was PERFECT :)
After that, they said they were going to admit me.
I was like.. YAY!
So..
We were ready to get the party started..
and then I felt bad for being so mad about not being induced on Tuesday..
because my body was doing it all by itself on Thursday :)
All I had to do was wait a couple more days and BAM!
:) So I wasn't feeling any of my contractions,
and then the doctor came in to break my water..
and BAM! It hurt.
So when he came to break my water,
I was dilated to a 3.
Then..
two and a half hours later
I was at an 8.
Dying in pain..
and then they finally decided it was time I could get my epidural.
After getting that,
It was lollipops and rainbows.
About a half an hour later I was ready to push. :)
My whole labor was 7 hours :)
PERFECT FOR A FIRST LABOR..
So..
The nurse kept saying over and over
"man.. your the only girl I know that is talking and laughing inbetween pushing.."
but what could I say..
I knew I was going to meet the most amazing boy that day..
a boy that would change my life forever..
10 minutes of pushing..
I heard the sweetest little cry,
and had the most handsome human being on my stomach looking at me with his big eyes..
I of course let Fielding hold him first. :)
and then my sister Chauncey,
(who was in the room experiencing it all with me.. ;) )
and then my step dad Danny..
and then of course..
IT WAS MY TURN :)
since I wasn't able to hold him
while they were fixing me up.
I knew I loved him, but seeing him for the first time..
made it all real,
and I can tell you right now..
I never thought I could love someone so much..
he is absolutely amazing!
So after about an hour,
I was ready to change rooms.
While changing rooms,
I was ready to faint..
Then they realized,
my IV stopped working..
So..
They had to start it up again..
and OUCH!
That hurt.
While I was getting moved into a new room,
Fielding was with the nurses and Kruz giving him his first bath..
After I got in my new room,
they brought me this nasty chicken dinner thing..
yeah right.. I wasn't going to eat that,
and I was glad that I didn't have an appetite.
I of course wanted my baby boy back from the nursery.
Finally..
They brought him back to me..
All clean, and said all his vitals were PERFECT!
It blows me away how I grew something so perfect and healthy..
Now dont get me wrong I tried to be healthy all pregnancy,
but I could of sat here and ate broccoli and carrots all day..
but instead I did have a lot of junk food.
IT WAS DELICIOUS!
:)
**He looks just like Fielding**
Fielding was of course overly in love as well..
If I wasn't cuddling or feeding the lad,
He was in Fieldings arms.. :)
We decided to make him feel like he was ours,
So I dug out a soft little blankey,
and a hat and mittens and..
:)
He loved it..
In the picture below it was during a yawn.
;)
I had a few complications,
and so I had to stay until Saturday morning..
and then..
We were ready to hit the road..
** Yes, I know the buckles are all weird still,
we were still in the process of fitting the carseat when I took the picture :) **
Anyways..
If you couldn't tell,
I am amazingly in love,
So I take more than enough pictures..
So here they are..
Look at his huge feet,
with his long toes..
:)
.. and then his cousin Creek came to meet him.
Creek was so cute with him.. He started rocking back and forth,
and was singing to him..
It was so cute!
So.. This last week I have been in heaven..
Even though I have been in a little pain, ;)
It has been an amazing week with my little family actually being able to be together.
Fielding is such a good dad.
He has been there to help me out from day one,
since sometimes I can barely move.
He is there to change diapers, burp him, cuddle him..
gosh dang it..
he is the most amazing dad in the world..
and it makes me so happy that he is my sons daddy. :)
Kruz is definitely the most lucky boy in the world to have him..
:)
My life will never be the same,
and has changed for the better.
I never want to be without my baby boy again..
We got his newborn pictures done on Tuesday..
So you can bet your bottom dollar that they will be posted on here :)
So keep your eyeballs open.
Yay for my family finally being together.
