Our Move, and Family Update!

So I was planning on doing an update when he was a month old,
but when the third week came around,
we got the call from Dome,
and headed out to..

MERIDIAN, MISSISSIPPI!

 But..
Lets not get ahead of ourselves here..

So.. Since the last update,
We were just getting used to the life of being parents.
Doing the normal parent thing,
Taking tons of pictures,
cuddling..
Oh.. and sleeping WHENEVER we got the chance ;)
Fielding returned to work after a couple days,
So it was just Kruz and I,
and well..
Lets just say I think I have more than enough pictures of the little man.
IM JUST A LITTLE  OBSESSED! ;)

So..
Then there was Thanksgiving on the lads two week mark..
and we went up to Rexburg, Idaho
and visited with Fieldings family.
and then we headed to Rigby, Idaho,
and visited my family.

I for some reason only have pictures of Fieldings family..
but here they are :)
4 generation picture! :)

Fieldings Grandma Nan, Fielding, Kruz, and Fieldings mom Charly

 Dont I look awesome ;)
haha.
Not a fan of this picture,
but its the memories that count..
right?

So.. After all of that fun stuff,
and TONS of food..
Fielding decided he would put the tree up all by himself..

and it turned into..
THIS!

I dont think he ever learned to spread out the ornaments ;)
So I finally fixed it..
and it seems like right after I did..
We got the call that we were needed in Mississippi ASAP!

So,
we got the call on Tuesday,
and on Wednesday we were all packed up,
had a fast baby blessing for our little man,
and he had the cutest white tux,
Thanks to Fieldings grandma nan :)

Then we went to Rigby and slept at my parents,
and then were planning on leaving on Thursday early early morning..
Well. We ran into some problems..

Remember that sexy fj cruiser
I posted about in November
that we bought a couple days before Kruz was born..
Well.. We didn't think uhaul would not have a trailer big enough to tow it..
So..
We had to go buy one from a dealership..

(Kruz and I watched from the window :) )

and by the time we got it bought, registered, and the fj strapped down..
It was about 5pm.
So we were just going to sleep,
and leave early early
Friday morning..
But..
The weather wouldn't cooperate and there was a big storm coming..
So Fielding went and took a nap,
and we ate dinner,
and were on the road by 7 pm.

So.. We got through some of the mountains,
and got to Green River, Wyoming.
and decided we were ahead enough of the storm,
so we stopped and got a hotel.
Now listen.. If you ever are driving through Wyoming and need to stop,
Green River has a very nice hotel,
and it was only like $70 a night..
We were pleased with that price of course :)

Anyways..
So that morning we had a nice grand breakfast at the hotel,
and hit the road again..
We drove about 15-16 hours,
and then decided it was time to stop and let the little man out and stretch.
Because the day we left, it was his 3 week birthday,
and I wasn't for bringing him into public that young.
Especially because it is cold and flu season.

So anyways..
We stopped in
McPherson, Kansas
and found another great hotel
for $90.
:)
I was so happy with our hotel deals,
because I was only wanting to stay in the top of the line hotels
because I knew they would be the cleanest for my lil man.

(This was on the last day of the trip.. After we were 18 hours in :)  He's still happy! )

So after getting some much needed rest,
we got back on the road again..
drove for another 15-16 hours,
and got here :)
It was so nice finally being here,
and letting Kruz finally stretch
and not have to have him in the carseat for awhile :)

Anyways,
We got here on a Saturday night
at like 10 pm.
and then,
we only unpacked a few things and Fielding ran to Walmart to get us a nice air mattress
because our furniture wasn't going to be delivered until Monday.
(Dome wasn't expecting us to be down here that soon) ;)
and then we went to sleep.
WE WERE BEAT!

Sunday, We unpacked our cars
and started to get settled in our new home.

This is a view from our balcony of Great 'ol Mississippi.)

Fielding went to work right away,
So I was left to unpack,
get settled,
take care of Kruz,
find us new doctors,
(since we haven't had our 6 week check ups yet)
 run arrands,
and lets just say a lot more things.. haha.

Im am not complaining at all,
I enjoy keeping busy,
but thats one reason why you guys are finally getting the update ;)

After a couple days,
Nothing was really left to do..
So..
I had plenty of cuddle time with my boy :)

(as you can tell in the picture, I didn't get much sleep since we got the call to pack up and leave)

..and our lives are finally getting back to normal..

... and then we celebrated Kruz being a MONTH old!

I am not going to lie..
I did cry a little.
He is getting SO BIG!

I know he looks bald in all his pictures,
but he really does have hair..
and this next picture proves it..
He is just a toe head like his daddy. :)

So a couple days ago,
I finally got my Christmas shopping done for Kruz, and Fielding.
and I had time on Sunday to wrap all of them while Fielding was home to watch Kruz..
and now..
My tree looks like its almost Christmas.. :)
(Fielding decorated the tree again, but must of learned when I taught him when I fixed the other)
haha.

You like our ORANGE walls :)
I kinda am loving it.

and Last night,
was our 2 year anniversary..
Fielding went to work in the morning,
and then surprised me by coming home early,
bringing me these..

So my little family went out to chilis,
and did a little bit more of the Christmas shopping..
and then..
we finally had time to take a picture by our tree :)
This is like the only one that turned out..

The others were like this..

Haha.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
