16 Weeks, Its a ????, Birthday, and lots of pictures..

I am 16 Weeks.. :) 

and the baby is the size of an..

Avocado.. :)

Getting so big.. 

4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) 

and 3 1/2 ounces..

Our baby is getting ready for a growth spurt. 

In the next few weeks, it will double weight and add inches to its length..

Its legs are much more developed, 

and it has started growing toenails.. :) 

..and its little tiny heart is pumping 25 quarts of blood each day..

So.. I have decided to start doing this at 4 months.. 

So I can always look back and this.. :) 

How far along? 16 Weeks
Maternity clothes? No.
Best moment this week: Finding out the gender, hearing a perfect heartbeat, and seeing that everything it absolutely fine. :)
Miss Anything? CAFFIENE!
Movement: Just a little every now and again.. Still just little tickles :)
Food Cravings: pizza, pitas, and.. sunflower seeds. :) oh and of course pickles.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Smelly public bathroom stalls, dirty dishes
Labor Signs: NO! haha. and hopefully none for awhile. :)
Symptoms: Nausea comes and goes, but other than that.. These past couple weeks have been heaven from the first tri :)
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: I think this is 1/2 and 1/2 right now :)
Looking forward to: My doctors appointment in 4 weeks to make sure all the

 organs are growing perfectly :)

Alright alright.. and the moment you were waiting for.. 

ITS A BOY!!!

He is a finger sucker, and loves to just ride on my hip bone..

causing great discomfort. haha.

but in the ultrasound he looked really comfy. 

and would flex his little arms for us.. :)

 (Fielding knew it was a boy the whole time so in this picture he was just sitting there like.. told you so..) My horomones got the best of me ;)

Yes, we started running out of balloons. haha.

This is when I decided.. alright.. well.. its alright if we have a mini fielding :)

 Now that we skipped the whole weekend we will go back.. 

REWIND..

On Friday, While Fielding was at work,

I went to a plantation house with a couple of the wives

 and had a grand ol time touring it..

even though I was dying of heat.. :)

 yikes!!

This is the plantation house we toured..

Its called The Houmas House.. 

Probably my favorite out of all the plantation houses we have seen :)

I wasn't able to get much pictures because I didn't have

On Saturday, we went on a Katrina/City tour in New Orleans..

Most of our pictures didn't turn out because they were all out of a bus window.. 

but.. here is the moments we caught. :)

 After seeing what katrina did to the 9th ward,

we went into a cemetery..

The catholic church owns these.. and if someone doesn't have enough 

money to buy a coffin, they just buy one of these little boxes to bury 

their loved on in.. and if its full they just push the bones of the other body to the back

 and put the new body in.. and then they buy a coffin, and pay 

the graveyard money to move your loved one to a coffin. : /

 I would hate to work at the graveyard.. ZOMBIES!

The bus driver said that the cheapest one out there is about

$60,000

 YIKES!

 After that 2.5 hour tour, we were kind of tired, and just went home the rest of the day 

and laid around :)

Sunday came around and we did the same thing Sunday.. 

Resting up for my birthday :)

And then.. MONDAY rolled on by..

and I want to take a moment of silence for all the soldiers

that have lost their life for us Americans..

{silence}

Alright.. I woke up on Monday and I was feeling very very hungry..

it was only 6 am :)

and so Fielding brought me to Burger King :)

on our way there,

there must of been a guy that was just hit by a car..

because there was a dead guy laying in the street.. 

: / 

Not gonna lie..

I cried..

I dont want to have that family so so so sad

that they lost a loved one on my Birthday..

:(

but.. after that moment of sadness..

I ate my burger king, went back to bed..

and then had our doctors appointment at 10.

((Ya know.. I wanted to be as close as a 21 year old as I could :) ))

After that we just came home and relaxed..

Not gonna lie, I hit the sack pretty quick.. 

It was a very busy day, I didn't even take a nap :) 

Well.. that was our very long memorial day weekend in a nut shell :)

TODAY I AM 15 WEEKS!!

and the baby is the size of an.. 

APPLE!

Our little chicken nugget now is 4 inches long,

and weights about 2 1/2 ounces...

 Its legs are growing longer than its arms now,

 and it can move all of its joints and limbs. 

There's not much for your it to taste at this point, but it is forming taste buds.

Also, I have other news to report..

I have started to feel it..

Not all the time yet.. But every couple of days. :)

Its awesome!

We are finding out in 6 days whether its a girl or a boy.! 

I can not wait.. :)

especially because I hate calling it an "IT".. 

:)

Also, in 6 days is my BIRTHDAY!!

YAY!

So I have tons of things to look forward to on the 28th of this month..

now.. 

 Fieldings mother sent us a package in the mail and we recieved it yesterday.

 and inside of it had a beautiful baby blanket :) 

for our little chicken nugget.. 

 

It will go perfect for a boy or a girl :) 

So I am pretty excited!!

Also in the package I received some other goodies
for my Birthday :)
I pretty much just have the best mother-in-law a lady could ask for :)

Now.. I dont really know what we all did this weekend. 

My weeks are kind of just blending together in a nice little milkshake..

But I will be sure to post next week when we are ready to announce

Well hello there second tri...

Your lookin good. :)

This little bumblebee is the size of a.. 

LEMON! 

it measures at 3 1/2 inches :) 

and weighs 1 1/2 ounces.

Thats right.. Its growing so big and nicely..

We find out what it is in 13 Days :)

This week our baby can now squint, frown, 

grimace, pee, and possibly suck its thumb :)

I still am in shock that this is all happening, 

and my body knows how to grow a baby all by itself. 

ITS AMAZING!

Anyways, this weekend we actually went out to a nice lunch together..
to of course my choice..

I was craving it for awhile, and now that I speak of it again..
I dont think that craving went away.. ;)
 and then after we decided to watch a movie at the movie theatre.
We have pretty much seen all the movies we are interested in..
so we went to Dark Shadows.

It wasn't that bad of a movie actually..
Atleast we didn't have a problem with it. :) 

Anyways.. and then we came home..
and well the rest of the weekend was kind of bland.
I got tons of candy at church though because of mothers day :)
It was kind of awesome.!

Peaches 'n creme, crawfish men, hunger games, and a whole lot of HEAT!

I'm 13 weeks today.. :)

 So I was reading about what our baby 

is going to be developing this week,

and I found out this week they grow all the hair all over their body.. 

kind of like a peach. haha. thats awesome. I know.. 

So now.. its our little hairy peach. 

Hopefully, we can find out in like 3 weeks what we are having..
I am thinking about going to a special doctor that can find out earlier..
What other great birthday present could I ask for. :)

I was going to take a wonderful belly picture again, but hellooo.. 

I look the same as the last one, 

so... No use for getting all pretty today.

Anyways.. On Friday we went out a dinner and a movie..

We went to The Hunger Games.. 

I didn't enjoy it.. It moves to much, and I was about to vomit all through out it.. 

.. and on Saturday the guys planned on having another crawfish boil, 

while the wives were going to see The Lucky One.

BUT...

None of the wives wanted to except for me and another wife. 

So we just hung out with the guys..

IM 12 WEEKS!

and.. the baby is the size of a LIME!!

HOLY MOLEY..!

Its getting big..

and.. I am just starting to show..

(kinda still in the "im chubby" stage)

 I have had a lot of bloating and other things,

in the early weeks..

but it has gone down and well..

 see for yourself.

.. and this is my... "WHAT THE.." Look :)

 

I forgot to post my ultrasound pictures we got last week..

So heres our little Limeade. :) 

It was 11 weeks and 1 day!

 

 

Isn't it precious.. :)

 I love how it actually is starting to look more and more like a human.

Not gonna lie, I cant believe this is happening to me still..

Not as a bad thing either..

Its just like woah.. 

I dont know..

just unbelievable. 

Pretty soon I am going to have someone else I would do anything for..

..and well.. I cant wait to meet a mini fielding/karissa.. :)

Anyways.. now to everything else that happened this last week. 

Since the guys had a while off, 

we just laid around most of the week until Monday came.. 

Our dear friends Ben and Ryanne left,

and we watched the Muir kids,

while their parents went and did housing inspections..

After the Muirs and us decided we were done sitting around,

we went on a bowling fiesta. :)

Fielding won..

and I came in second..

Now, if you have ever bowled with me, 

you know why I am so excited about coming in second..

I usually get gutter balls..

But to my luck.. 

We didn't know how to turn off the bumpers.. ;)

After.. The boys came up with an idea.

 Now this might just be a SURPRISE..

not..!

 The Muirs, The Garretts, and us had another last minute

CRAWFISH BOIL!

The guys were outside getting them ready to feast on,

and all the ladies were inside having our own party :) 

and I was sitting in the woman party, in a corner... 

and told everyone walking in to wash their hands.. 

pretty much you could of called me.. "THE BOSS"

 So, while rinsing off the craw fish, little Xaden was having the time of his life,

looking, and trying to touch them. :)

After they cook, they turn bright red.. 

As you can see, all the guys are feasting outside..

and the woman were inside eating the good stuff ;)

and they even sucked out their brains..

BLEHK!

And, I still haven't laid a kiss on Fieldboys lips..

 After that, Tuesday was a blur.. and Wednesday the guys went back to work,

and we had our ultrasound.. Which the pictures are above..

Thursday we went out to this restaurant by our house called 

Dons Seafood, for Dakota Garretts 16th Birthday.

and then Saturday came around..

We had a birthday party for Sandi Craig..

On of the dome wives.

It was full of delicious food, and hilarious games.

and I learned, I would be good at serades. :) 

Not really sure how to spell that.. but we can pretend. 

and well.. the rest of the days kinda just flew by.. and now we are to my 12th week..

only one week left until my second trimester.!
