19 Weeks, Kicks and Punches, and a lot of love..

Today I am 19 weeks..

and our little boy is the size of a.. 

MANGO!

His sensory development is exploding!

His brain is designating specialized areas for smell,

 taste, hearing, vision, and touch. 

Some research suggests that he may be able to hear our voices now. 

:) 

So I have been talking up a storm..

He weighs about 8 1/2 ounces 

and measures 6 inches, head to bottom

but we know my little baby boy is bigger than that..

So we will just have to find that out on Friday :) 

 His arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other

 and the rest of his body now.

 His kidneys continue to make urine

 and the hair on his scalp is sprouting.

Now how cute is that update :) 

I started feeling him kick on Wednesday, 

right after our last post actually. 

But he was so so stubborn

 that Fielding was never really able to feel anything

until last night..

This little stinker was up all night thinking I was its kicking bag. :) 

but.. I was happy, 

because Fielding got to feel!

Its so much better when you can feel them

because it calms all the worries down. 

and lets me know my little boy is happy,

healthy, and best of all.. SAFE! 

How far along? 19 Weeks
Maternity clothes? No. Just pony tails, and Be Bands :)
Best moment this week: KICKING! :)

 Miss Anything? Lunch meat.. 

 Movement: Every morning, and every night.. :)
Food Cravings: Pizza, Salsa, and pickle flavored sunflower seeds :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Everything that smells.

 Labor Signs: NO! haha. and hopefully none for awhile. :)
Symptoms: I dont really have any symptoms except for the normal exhaustion..
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy of course :)
Looking forward to: 21 more weeks until this baby decides to join us :)

So.. We have our last doctors appointment while we are in Lousiana on Friday. 

I cant stinking wait to see my little man AGAIN! 

I have been so blessed to be able to get all the ultrasounds that I have..

There is nothing like seeing your child all the time :) 

So, I am sure I will post those pictures of the ultrasound,

 and I will tell you all about it.

I bought a new outfit for our little man,

and I know Fielding will surely dislike it. :) 

 but that makes me like it even more..

Whenever he doubts it,

I will just pull this little onsie out.. 

that should shut him up ;)

Apple Pie, 6 Day Celebration, and one nice blankey..

TODAY I AM 15 WEEKS!!

and the baby is the size of an.. 

APPLE!

Our little chicken nugget now is 4 inches long,

and weights about 2 1/2 ounces...

 Its legs are growing longer than its arms now,

 and it can move all of its joints and limbs. 

There's not much for your it to taste at this point, but it is forming taste buds.

Also, I have other news to report..

I have started to feel it..

Not all the time yet.. But every couple of days. :)

Its awesome!

We are finding out in 6 days whether its a girl or a boy.! 

I can not wait.. :)

especially because I hate calling it an "IT".. 

:)

Also, in 6 days is my BIRTHDAY!!

YAY!

So I have tons of things to look forward to on the 28th of this month..

now.. 

 Fieldings mother sent us a package in the mail and we recieved it yesterday.

 and inside of it had a beautiful baby blanket :) 

for our little chicken nugget.. 

 

It will go perfect for a boy or a girl :) 

So I am pretty excited!!

Also in the package I received some other goodies
for my Birthday :)
I pretty much just have the best mother-in-law a lady could ask for :)

Now.. I dont really know what we all did this weekend. 

My weeks are kind of just blending together in a nice little milkshake..

But I will be sure to post next week when we are ready to announce

and.. Next week I will also be 4 months..

Well hello there second tri...

Your lookin good. :)

This little bumblebee is the size of a.. 

LEMON! 

it measures at 3 1/2 inches :) 

and weighs 1 1/2 ounces.

Thats right.. Its growing so big and nicely..

We find out what it is in 13 Days :)

This week our baby can now squint, frown, 

grimace, pee, and possibly suck its thumb :)

I still am in shock that this is all happening, 

and my body knows how to grow a baby all by itself. 

ITS AMAZING!

Anyways, this weekend we actually went out to a nice lunch together..
to of course my choice..

I was craving it for awhile, and now that I speak of it again..
I dont think that craving went away.. ;)
 and then after we decided to watch a movie at the movie theatre.
We have pretty much seen all the movies we are interested in..
so we went to Dark Shadows.

It wasn't that bad of a movie actually..
Atleast we didn't have a problem with it. :) 

Anyways.. and then we came home..
and well the rest of the weekend was kind of bland.
I got tons of candy at church though because of mothers day :)
It was kind of awesome.!

Limes, "another" crawfish boil, birthdays, and bowling..

I have a lot to share,

IM 12 WEEKS!

and.. the baby is the size of a LIME!!

HOLY MOLEY..!

Its getting big..

and.. I am just starting to show..

(kinda still in the "im chubby" stage)

 I have had a lot of bloating and other things,

in the early weeks..

but it has gone down and well..

 see for yourself.

I forgot to post my ultrasound pictures we got last week..

So heres our little Limeade. :) 

It was 11 weeks and 1 day!

 

 

Isn't it precious.. :)

 I love how it actually is starting to look more and more like a human.

Not gonna lie, I cant believe this is happening to me still..

Not as a bad thing either..

Its just like woah.. 

I dont know..

just unbelievable. 

Pretty soon I am going to have someone else I would do anything for..

..and well.. I cant wait to meet a mini fielding/karissa.. :)

Anyways.. now to everything else that happened this last week. 

Since the guys had a while off, 

we just laid around most of the week until Monday came.. 

Our dear friends Ben and Ryanne left,

and we watched the Muir kids,

while their parents went and did housing inspections..

After the Muirs and us decided we were done sitting around,

we went on a bowling fiesta. :)

Fielding won..

and I came in second..

Now, if you have ever bowled with me, 

you know why I am so excited about coming in second..

I usually get gutter balls..

But to my luck.. 

We didn't know how to turn off the bumpers.. ;)

After.. The boys came up with an idea.

 Now this might just be a SURPRISE..

not..!

 The Muirs, The Garretts, and us had another last minute

CRAWFISH BOIL!

The guys were outside getting them ready to feast on,

and all the ladies were inside having our own party :) 

and I was sitting in the woman party, in a corner... 

and told everyone walking in to wash their hands.. 

pretty much you could of called me.. "THE BOSS"

 So, while rinsing off the craw fish, little Xaden was having the time of his life,

looking, and trying to touch them. :)

After they cook, they turn bright red.. 

As you can see, all the guys are feasting outside..

and the woman were inside eating the good stuff ;)

and they even sucked out their brains..

BLEHK!

And, I still haven't laid a kiss on Fieldboys lips..

 After that, Tuesday was a blur.. and Wednesday the guys went back to work,

and we had our ultrasound.. Which the pictures are above..

Thursday we went out to this restaurant by our house called 

Dons Seafood, for Dakota Garretts 16th Birthday.

and then Saturday came around..

We had a birthday party for Sandi Craig..

On of the dome wives.

It was full of delicious food, and hilarious games.

and I learned, I would be good at serades. :) 

Not really sure how to spell that.. but we can pretend. 

and well.. the rest of the days kinda just flew by.. and now we are to my 12th week..

only one week left until my second trimester.!

Yay for this Davis Family!

Supercross, Days off!, and Crawfish Boil

Alright.. Where to even begin.

Last Saturday, we went up to New Orleans to watch super-cross.


We had a lot of fun, and I actually lost my voice screaming for an Idaho boy..
We went with our friends,
Berkley and Codi, and their kids..
Tyler and Neihlee, and their kids..
and my brother Casey.



Afterwards, the rest of the weekend and
starting of the week went normal, and boring..

But then Wednesday came around..
I got a phone call from Fielding at 10 a.m..
and I knew something was up..
He always calls me at lunch at 12, and when he gets off at 6.
but never at 10..
So I answered and asked him if everything was alright..
He said "Yeah, we just got kicked off the jobsite so I am coming home"
Not gonna lie, I was very excited.. I never get to spend that much time with him..
Only on weekends, and sometimes thats only Sunday.
But then he comes home, and we find out all the guys are not working until
Next Monday..
So.. They all have to take a week and a half off of work. :/
Not gonna lie, a few words came to mind..
But I always have a way of finding a positive out of everything..
and well the positive thing is..
Monday I woke up with a cold..
Everyday it got a little bit worse.
and Fielding has been here to be my doctor :)
and he has been cleaning the house...
SPOTLESS..
I am very lucky that I married this man :)


Well on Friday we went out and bought a wonderful humidifier..


and this wonderful stuff..


and not going to lie,
ever since I have been sitting in my room surrounded by this thing..
It has made me feel tons better, and is calming down my cold..
LIFESAVER!

But anyways..
On Thursday,
we had friends come over and we went for a jolly good swim.
Since everyone has nothing else to do.
Afterwards, half of our friends left, and the other half was still sitting there talking..
We decided, Well I shall say, Fielding and they decided to boil some crawfish..
I just wanted jambalaya :)
Now, for those of you who dont know.. I am very allergic to shell fish.
So no thank you on the crawfish..
So Fielding went and bought tons of ALIVE crawfish.


I couldn't even look at them,
because I knew I would have to suffer and watch fielding
gulp them down.
So, our dear friend Tyler and Neihlee made some jambalaya..
and Fielding was in charge of the crawfish as you can see..
Now being from Idaho... We didn't realize that we really needed to cook them outside.
and my house probably still has a nasty smell to it.
BLEHK.!

and well.. the rest of the week, we have been sitting at home.
I have been huddled around the humidifier like I have told you,
but poor Fielding doesn't ever know what to do with himself and is dying of boredom.

and thats how our week went..
Now for the good stuff. :)

Our baby is now the size of a FIG!
Figs aren't cute, so picture it looking a little like me ;)

We have an ultrasound on Wednesday of this week,
and I am sure I will be posting those wonderful pictures. :)
